Yet Another 450 x 18 Tyre Introduced!

For now, I lumped all the pre-war cars together, I would LOVE for there to be enough demand to split it into groups (hint...hint, post here about your pre-war Singer)

Yet Another 450 x 18 Tyre Introduced!

Post by Phillip »

Hey Pre-Warriors!

Just FYI, hot on the heels of the excellent Longstone 450x18 triple-stud 'period' tyre for our pre-war Singers, competitor Vintage Tyres have introduced their own version under the 'Waymaster' brand. This is similar in tread style and pattern to the Dunlop B5, but is offered at a more reasonable £85.00, or @ $136.00USD, when compared to the Dunlop.

The new 450x18 is claimed to be the first of the Waymaster range to be produced in their new Factory.

...Oh...I should note that,as I posted on the Longstone Tyre thread, Longstone do also sell the Waymaster, but it is new to Vintage Tyre.

The price at Vintage Tyre is a dead match for Longstone's Waymaster, but I should say that the Longstone 'triple stud' is a cheaper and more period tyre at £77.00. Still my fav!
