Rodding out the engine block coolant passages

Hi Folks,
On the advice of my local gurus(including the guy at a machine shop that rebuilds engines) , I used the following procedure to clean out the engine block.
1. Using coat hanger wire, long thin screw driver, gravity, gun cleaning brushes, get as much gunk (LOTS)out as possible (see attached pic)
2. I made a little cover plate of aluminum to cover where the rad hose attaches to the block, then with the block upright on the bench, filled the water jackets with Evapo-Rust and let it sit for two days.
3. Emptied out the Evapo-rust (oooooh baby! look at all that stuff) and (quickly) thoroughly blasted out the watrer jackets with a pressure washer.
4. Air dried everything with compressed air

I looked and probed everything carefully and feel pretty confident that it's clean.
