Singer 10/26
Now here is something you don't see every day in North America. Nicholas Pefanis had this lovely 10/26 Tourer restored in Greece and now has it in New York. I have strongly suggested that he bring it to Stowe.

Re: Singer 10/26
This car is actually a 1928 Senior like my own, not a 10/26, and was previously domiciled in the Greek island of Kefalonia, also known as Cephalonia, under the ownership of a G. Cosmatos. Interestingly, it is a ‘wide track’ model of the type Singer usually reserved for the colonies like Australia!

Re: Singer Senior
Yes this car has fascinating history. Was unearthed from a cave on the island by Gerosmos back in the 1980's. It had been imobilised by removing the steering drop arm and hidden from the Germans during WW2.
I took some parts over to complete the car. It is of course a 28 wide track Senior and one of very few surviving. I have several photos of it before restoration which is now more complete than the present picture shows.
Regards Colin

Re: Singer 10/26
It would be nice to have him join the club. He is so close to Stowe. It would be a great addition to see such a wonderful example of this unique car.
