In my last "News and Views, I wrote about the Jules Heumann Singer Special, a very slick looking fibreglass bodied Singer roadster built in the Fifties. The car took him 3000 hours to complete (Robert Moreau you have competition). Any of you folks raised on Road and Track and Motor Trend will recall industry advertisements suggesting you could build a kit car in a few weekends. This of course was before Truth in Advertising legislation. Take a look at this classic piece on building a Wildfire. The Widfire was a contemporary of the Glasspar kit, one of which you may recall was built by Bill Vaughan of Vaughan Singer Motors. http://www.youtube.com/user/grhacker200 ... IGAooBGSUw
