Welcome aboard Wayne,
You will find the Singer fraternity an enthusiastic and supportive group and I am sure we will be able to help you with your restoration. Free free to ask anything and we will do our best. Join up with NASOC also ASAP to start receiving our award-winning magazine. You have already discovered this forum, a center for many Singer enthusiasts.
Your serial number indicates that your car is a 1952 left-hand-drive 4AD. We can check the Roadster ledgers to obtain the full build sheet on your car.
We will put out the word for an engine and transmission. If nothing can be found, an A-Series, or even B-Series BMC engine has been a swap used in the past. We have one member who fitted a small OHC Suzuki jeep engine in his!
Good luck with the project and keep us posted!

in the process of purchasing a 1951 4AD, VIN 4AD316U, which was the penultimate 4AD produced in 1951.
RHD car that was exported to Malaysia, bought by an US serviceman in the 70's then brought to the USA. Last on the road in 1998. Expect lots of questions!

Re: WANTED Singer Car Owners Information
Hi, I am new custodian of 1929 Singer Senior UV2674 .
This Senior may already be known to many as it was previously owned by the late Peter Fennell who was membership secretary for the SOC. Chassis number 24500 Engine Number 23125
The car is in superb condition having been restored over a period from 1968 to 2023 with Reg Frank and Peter Fennell being the only two owners over that time. If anybody has any further history or pictures of the car I would be most interested.
There are of course one or to issues that I am working on just now keep her running smoothly but I will post separately, seeking some guidance for those. I hope I don't repeat too many questions that are already answered in historical posts.
While I'm here, Could I ask if anyone has information on 1929 Singer Sunshine Registration number UU6806. I recently bought the old UK buff Registration Book for this car on Ebay when I noticed the Chassis number is 24501. It would be great to know if the car still exists (it was last registered in the book in 1968, in West Croydon, Surrey) or if there are any pictures?
