Ottawa British Car Day

Although we have had a very wet season to date, weather for the Ottawa British Car Show could not have been better. Attendance at the event reflected the conditions as we had a record number of 200 cars - quite a respectable number, given that that the event is only in its 4th year.
Unfortunately Singers were not out in full force. However, where we lacked in quantity, we gained in quality and enthusiasm. Kenlis Pearce and his entourage were there with his beautifully restored 4AD. It was definitely a hit with the crowd. In its original green and tan it stood out like a jewel on the field. Robert Moreau arrived sans auto due to a failed master cylinder which he was unable to obtain replacement parts for until next week. The problem was due to a minor engineering flaw that he will be rectifying.
His disappointment in not being there with his car was obvious. However an offer to tour the field in Kenlis' 4AD put a very large smile on his face.
