It's been a long time coming, but my '34 Le Mans is finally on the road. A couple of initial glitches to be expected, but after about fifty miles, all appears to be well. Over to you Mike.

Re: JH 6802 Finally Arrives
Hard to believe, but it's almost time to put my Le mans to bed for the winter. It was a late start for the season, but long enough to shake out all the bugs that arise after a long restoration and 60 years off the road. A few minor details to deal with over the winter, but nothing major.
With luck, the really nasty weather won't arrive for another week or two. Driving will be with gloves and warm coat until then and certainly no overheating problems will arise.
A few autumn shots. These past couple of weeks have been the best time of the season to be out. Comfortable temperatures for both car and driver and lots of beautiful foliage to complement the car.

Thanks Colin. It was an extremely challenging restoration. Literally everything was wrong with it.

Everything looks perfect now Peter - Eye-Sweet as they say in boatbuilding circles: if it looks right it is right!
