Ottawa British Car Day 2022

This was the first OBCD in two years. It was very much a scaled down version with about sixty cars. I'm not sure why this was. Perhaps the organizers were just testing the waters for the new venue. The latter, by the way, doesn't hold a candle to the Britannia Beach venue, but it seems the Beach is no longer available to us.
I wasn't sure what the variety would be, but there was a nice selection of classic cars and I don't believe I saw one MGB or Mini. I thought mine would be the only Singer in attendance. However, half an hour in, I saw a familiar green and brass bedecked roadster approaching the park. Robert hit the road early from Montreal and rolled in with a big smile on his face. It was nice to see him and we spent an enjoyable morning catching up.
Robert and I parked adjacent to the crowd under the only stand of trees on the field to protect ourselves from the sun. Nevertheless we had a steady stream of folks wander over to see us.
