Hi everyone. Looking for some options on replacing the brake master cylinder on my 1945 AD4 roadster. I've searched this forum and found very little on brake master cylinder replacement or rebuilding. The post https://forum.singercars.com/viewtopic. ... nder#p2307
mentions an Austin Healy A100 master as perhaps being the same as on an AD4. The link in the forum takes you to a defunct Victoria British page but i did find this in the Moss catalogue and it looks identical to a Singer master. https://mossmotors.com/austin-healey-10 ... nder-brake. I imagine the price ($200) is about the same as having an original machined and sleeved once you add in shipping to and from a machine shop and I would also have to source a rebuild kit.
Anyone have experience with the Moss cylinder in their AD4?
Thanks
Pablo

Apple hydraulics in New York. They can send it back to you completely rebuilt.

if you have your master and its in decent shape you can rebuild it yourself. Personally I would send it out for sleeving.
If you want to spend some serious cash on brand new https://www.powertrackbrakes.co.uk/index.html likely has them brand new.
The master looks like a lot of others cars master of the era but they had different bore diameter which would affect the brakes function, that is really what you need to be careful about, same bore.
