4 AD 1952
urgent question !
how on earth do you see the top mark on the fly wheel with the engine in car ???
or any other way to find it (apart from a finger in the spark plug hole) !
very confused klaus

small child...that is how I did it when my daughter was 5 or 6 years old. She could fit under the dash easily and we removed the floorboard to make it easier.

Mirror and flashlight is probably the approved way.

thanks a lot,
unfortunately my daughter is 45 and , well rather "fluffy",!
the mirror and flashlight worked after removing floorboard.
i marked the fly wheel and the fan belt pulley for next time.
