I don't suppose anyone has the missing ADV RET and throttle levers. I have the tubes but the levers are missing. A nice to have, but not essential so I'll probably do without.

Flash photography makes the colour bluer than it actually is.

Re: US8155
wow, I should send out my chrome to them. I have been trying to find a shop to do Chrome in California and no one does it anymore, to many EPA rules (Environment Protection Agency). There are other shops in other states where the EPA does not have the stricter California rules, but I have been told the best is to risk my life and cross the border to Mexico where they don't have environment rules. Those spinners look better then the brand new ones I purchased, I was quite disappointed with the quality of the finish on the new ones.

Re: US8155
As a schoolboy I was taught that steel was copper plated before nickel then chrome but as you say, environmental considerations mean that copper is not used anymore - at least not by RS. I have sent the radiator surround to Vernon Moss who have a tank large enough to take it and, it is rumoured, can copper plate. Fingers crossed for a good result.
Re: US8155
I had my Junior surround and my Light Six bumpers plated by Vehicle and General Polishers and Platers in Arlessey and they copper plated them before the shiny coats went on. Before and after they plated the Junior surround:

Lovely Colin. These things cost an arm and a leg to do properly, but worth every penny.

Re: US8155
Light Six bumpers - same firm. They also did the headlight bar with copper, nickel and then chrome. The Junior surround was just finished in nickel as the original would have been.
