Rear half of grille colour?

Hi all, can anyone tell me what colour the back half of the grille should be on my 9A Roadster ( the part the leading edge of the bonnet sits on)? Google images show some in body colour, others black or chrome etc. Mines badly painted in silver and I want to send it to the powder coaters this week. TIA

Hi Peter,

I've owned A, 4A, 4AB and 4AD Roadsters over the years and all of the chrome grille support frames were painted black.
