Hi David,
Is your Roadster a 4AD with the 1500cc engine? The 4AB had the 1074cc engine as used in the Bantam, R, A and 4A Roadsters, so it's a completely different engine.

Halfshaft not crankshaft...sorry...age must be catching up with me...I suppose that is why I couldn't get that 4AD halfshaft to fit in the 4AB block!
