Rear mudguard fixing

For now, I lumped all the pre-war cars together, I would LOVE for there to be enough demand to split it into groups (hint...hint, post here about your pre-war Singer)

Rear mudguard fixing

Post by casadecabra »

I'm trying to fit the rear mudguards to my 1934 Le Mans 2 seat. Clearly the front is attached by 2 bolts (per mudguard) through the wheel arch, but what happens at the back - is it screwed to the fuel tank frame or is there a bracket going somewhere?

Should there be piping between the mudguard and the wheel arch?

Piping. I believe so. Probably black.

There are two bolts fixing the wing to the apron, one at the top just below the gas tank and one at the bottom. There should be piping between the wing and the body tub.
