Hi all,
I am building a Singer racing special based on 1928 Junior Chassis but powered by 1949 Singer 10 engine. All the camshafts that I have are very dodgey and I am looking for either a source of supply for a new cam or a cam second hand but good condition.
I am also looking for the original cam profile specs and any alternate cam grind specs that have worked well. The existing set up does not allow for more than 200 thou lift without the valves hitting the block. Love to hear from anyone with experience in this area.
Thank you
Guy

Re: Singer 10 camshaft
try Mike at dolphinporsche@cs.com. He has a large array of NOS Singer parts bought up when Rootes closed its doors. He was close to the southern California racing community and has a familiarity with what was done to make Singers go faster. He is difficult to get to respond though.
