I could not find any a few years ago, I ended up making my own.

The Hardwicks have them, and the ring nuts. Steve Hardwick or Sally Wilkinson, singerlmspares@btinternet.com.

Ok, I made them 2 ways. My first try was to find a hole saw the diameter of the inside with the "tooth" and then using a plasma cutter, open up the hole leaving the "tooth" in place, also used the plasma cutter to cut the outside.

That worked and its on my car but it was not very nice. So my second attempt was I traced the what little I had left of the original onto a metal square and cut it out on my scroll saw (not jig saw, I did try that too, big failure). On my scroll saw I was able to control the speed very well and it went so well, I almost replaced the ugly plasma cut one.

Great. Thanks Mike. Apparently Hardwick's do supply them, but they are not currently shipping anything until Christmas.

According to a news note put out via ASCO, Sally and Steve may try and fulfil easy orders such as gaskets in a while, but they also hope to secure the long term health of the business and are keen to get expressions of interest from anyone with advice or proposals. Steve remains seriously ill and apparently Sally had a stroke a couple of years ago so it looks as if they are finding it hard to carry on.

Yes, we wish them a speedy return to good health.

I have found suitable washers. They are SKF MB8 lock washers. The inside diameter is 2mm larger so the inner locking tab barely locks in. However, a pinch in the vice reduces the diameter at the appropriate point and it all works. By the way, they were required as I installed sealed bearings (RLS 12S) to help keep diff fluid off my rear brakes.
