For now, I lumped all the pre-war cars together, I would LOVE for there to be enough demand to split it into groups (hint...hint, post here about your pre-war Singer)
Hi Colin,
I use sae 90 - not EP as they have a record of spoiling bronze bushes. Straight 90 is available from Millers, Morris's or Castrol Classic.
Regards
Bill
Hi Colin. Penrite make a range specifically for vintage vehicles. Particularly important for protecting bronze bushes as Bill says. Search for your vehicle in the Vintage section http://www.datateck.com.au/Lube/PenritePre1970/ I think you will find they recommend their Transoil T90 which is an SAE90 oil. Looks like this is readily available across the UK.
Thanks Mike. Yes Penrite are readily available in the UK and I use their products in my Junior and Light Six. I may have some T90 around somewhere if only I can find it!
