52 4AD door hinges

Post by Oldwhtboy »

Any ideas for replacement hinges? I seem to be missing both hinges on the drivers door (left side). Are there aftermarket ones or interchangeable ones from another vehicle?

I doubt if any direct replacements are available, but these undrilled and unbent blanks seems to be of correct size and shape. They would need to be bent to correct shape and then drill mounting holes to correct positions.

The original should be copper?
Or steel?
I have both in my both 4A roadsters...

Definitely not copper. Brass would be the alternative.
