Replica waterslide transfers

For now, I lumped all the pre-war cars together, I would LOVE for there to be enough demand to split it into groups (hint...hint, post here about your pre-war Singer)

Replica waterslide transfers

Post by Danish »

Something for the weekend. Replica 'singer' waterslide transfers on the way- as fitted by the factory to the nearside rear wing of 9 Sports and LM's (apologies Bill for capturing a screen grab of your pic). Collecting and trailing a first batch next week... Any interest out there?

David,

If these work out and you have a reliable source and a durable product, can they do the Lockheed brake reservoir as well?

I've been messing around with home printers and model makers hobby water transfers, but perhaps this is a better route?

Cheers,
Phillip

Likely to be really reasonable but wanted to assess first batch before announcing prices/ shipping.

Wow! More "unobtanium".

Once you know the pricing I am in too. If you can slip 2 in with my previous order (funds were sent last week) that would be great. I don't mind holding off on the other item while waiting and can send payment in the mean time. And if Mr Avis does order some then you can add them to my package as we work in the same facility (not one with bars and barbed wire, but it's hard to tell nowadays).

Nice to see those hard to find and interesting things done for the cars. Keep it up!

And if your contact can do the Lockheed transfers then between Phillip and me we can probably get you the artwork.

Likewise, if you can ship with badge that would be great, no hurry

First application test result. Needs a little delicacy in trimming to the contour edge and when applying.
Maybe sensible to provide a set of three to enable a trial run....

Looks amazing! Your suggestion is warranted... there may be some trial and error involved. Going way way way back to my younger days making model kits, there are some “softeners” for water transfer decals that may assist with them fitting the various curves. Micro Sol was one, Solvaset another. I’m not even sure if they are available anymore.
