Another successful Ottawa British Car Day. Attendance was down slightly, due to a wet forecast (which never materialized). I attended with my ' Nine Sports to ensure Singer was represented. John and Elizabeth Steggles from Guelph joined me with their lovely blue and ivory '54 4 AD . Both cars generated considerable interest on the part of attendees. Amongst these was Glen Woodcock, writer for Old Car Magazine, who spent an hour with John and I to prepare a story on Singers for an upcoming issue.
Barry Phillips, also a regular at Ottawa BCD, was present with his '35 Le Mans. It is a nicely restored car and certainly a complement to my Nine Sports and John's 4AD, giving attendees a picture of the quality of cars Singer produced. Paul Bouchard was also present with his unrestored Ten Sedan.
