This rare and extremely pretty 1959 Singer Gazelle convertible is owned by Rod Patriquin of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. That is Rod with TV car personality, Dennis Gauge, who featured Rod’s car on his show, My Classic Car, season 18, episode 5.
Rod made the very long trek this summer from Nova Scotia to Port Perry Ontario for the annual Brits by the lake British car show to join approximately 300 other enthusiasts.
Rod won the best in class award for the S2 specialty Car – Open Class, which included a catch all, mixed bag of cars, including all the convertible Rootes vehicles. The competition was very stiff.
