Bell Housing Strengthening Bracket

For now, I lumped all the pre-war cars together, I would LOVE for there to be enough demand to split it into groups (hint...hint, post here about your pre-war Singer)

Now fitted, and it's easy to understand now how vital this part is. ANC 958 will soon be back on the road with its rebuilt engine. John Parker did the rebuild, and already I can sense that it's far sweeter-running than it used to be. SND, here I come.

Hey John,

That's great news! Yes, we felt it was an unappreciated part that performs an important function that isn't immediately obvious.

Hope you make it it SOC National Day and look forward to updates about the Singer in Octane - one of my favourite reads.

Hey Bob,

Will look into it and see if we have any left...or when we can make a few more.

Cheers,
Phillip

That illusive bracket. Studied images on forum. Made a thin alum template first. Then bought some steel plate. Two folds made with plate in vice and a lump hammer. Shape cut with a jigsaw and filed to finish. Painted silver and fitted to protect the bellhousing. Not too difficult to do. Thanks again for images as had no idea what it looked like !
