Original parts tags
Original parts tags
When I bought my 4AD it came with a lot of used and NOS parts. I'm sure that some of you have come across the original Singer Parts tags before, but others may not have, so I've included a snap shot of what these old tags look like. They are printed on a material that I would call "map canvas", like used on old ordnance survey maps circa WW II. Each one has type-written description and part number. I have another that has a hand-written sticker attached to it, as well several original examples of Lucas, Rootes, and other packaging that I can post photos of if anyone is interested. I think they'd be a neat thing for a display, although they are certainly not ornate.

Hey D'Arcy...
I've collected a few of these myself and have framed them as an interesting point of Singer conversation!
