I have one Solex carb but I need two (dual carb set up) for my '53 4AD so am looking but need some help. I've had my car for many years now (project car) and so as of yet I know little about these cars as I have yet to start working on it.

The carb I have is a Solex and the numbers on it are:
30 FAI (I think, hard to read)
LF50
Is 1.25" dia

What cars did these carbs came on?
What is the model number of this carb to help my search? (or any other information is appreciated)
Any suggestions on who may have one, or where to go looking?
Do you have one!

Hi Pat .. here in Australia they can usually be found at Swapmeets, so that would be the first place to look, or try your carburetor specialist over your way ,,
I picked up a couple of new old stock FAI30. for my twin carb set up, from www.autosurplus.com.au here in Australia, so it would be worth an email to see if they have anymore in stock.

I have a manifold with two carbs and linkage. The manifold has some cracks that could be repaired but the carbs and linkage just need cleaning/replating as appropriate.
