Hi everyone .. among the Singer projects I have on the go is a 1960 Singer Gazelle 3A... I purchased it in pieces and have finally have it assembled.
One of the parts I am unable to find is the large plate that scews onto the bulkhead under the engine bonnet / hood .. it is about 6 x 4 inches and I believe it hold engine specifications ..
If anyone has one of these I am interested in purchasing it ..

Oddly enough I also live in Australia and have a IIIa Gazelle with a missing ID plate. There's no plate listing the chassis number - not sure if that was the same plate you were referring to. Is the chassis number stamped anywhere into the chassis? Or is it only on that plate?
There is a number stamped into the rectangular box area that the fuses bolt on to. Any idea what that number is? Mine says SG405, which is far too short to be a chassis number, as I've learned from this page:
