master cylinder supply tank?

I have a 1953 Singer 4AD LHD car and I want to install a master cylinder supply tank to the firewall. Moss Motors have these available one bracket is for a RHD the other is for LHD, what is the difference? Also is the atachment to the master cylinder universal? My car has a plastic type tank attached to the master cylinder, and I will need to use a copper tube from the supply tank to the master cyclinder. If someone has pictures of how this is done I would appreciate it very much.
Thanks in advance,
Louis Levin

Hi Louis, The brake master cylinder reservoir on my 4AD is attached to the steering column by a bracket, a steel tube then goes to the master cylinder. I would presume the twist in the bracket that holds it to the column would be different for FHD and RHD.
The tank itself is made of steel and are readily available on Ebay
I can attach some photos tomorrow evening, if no one else has attached any for you by then.
Usually the brake tube is made of steel bundy tubing, and I am not sure how copper would go, maybe someone else can help you there.

Thanks Stephen.
Yes I would like to see how it is attached in the engine compartment and how the tube is hooked to the master cylinder.

Hi Louis, I hope these links turn into photos, if mot click on the link and you will see that the master cylinder is attached to the reservoir by a thick metal strap which goes around the steering column and then around the tank.. it is held on by ordinary scres and nuts to clamp it tight,
Hard to get a clear photo while under the car but you can see that the pipe from the reservoir tank goes directly to the front of the master cylinder, and has a tapered not attached to a brass banjo fitting. The other pipe you see comes out and joins a "T" piece and each pipe then goes to right and left front wheel cylinders..
Hope this helps
Stephen

Stephen: Thank you for the pictures that helps me understand what I am trying to do. When I get my reservoir and tube hooked up I will send you some pictures. Again, thanks for taking your time to help out someone so far away.
