I haven't seen anything from Gregory's inventory, so I can't speak for their quality or the condition of their goods.

Does anyone on the Forum have experience with their products? Lights? Electrical bits, etc?

Hey Fellow Pre-Warriors...

Gregorys sell very nice quality stock, albeit at a price. I have met the owner a few times at Beaulieu and seen his wares, even purchased a few things like his excellent headlamp stone guards.

Vintage Headlamp Restorations sell a very nice repro FT37, again at a price:

I have seen these also and they are very nice.

Genius of the Lamp also sell restored units. eBay is a good source also.

Chrome finish was standard for the unit used on Singers, either as standard equipment, or as an option on some models. The switch was a surface mount style with a toggle lever at the bottom that filpped on or off sideways. Not ure of the Lucas number off the top of my head, but it is NOT a push-pull switch.
