LUCAS SLC2 Switch

For now, I lumped all the pre-war cars together, I would LOVE for there to be enough demand to split it into groups (hint...hint, post here about your pre-war Singer)

Hi, I still keep my eye out for a reasonably priced original but at present I will be using the Dave Hardwick case as per above with my modified internals. That seems to work well with car stationary and I see no reason why that will change. My gen has been rewired to a single phase unit so I dont need the summer / winter switch.

What I am still looking for is a new steering wheel boss. The aluminium casting David sells is not good. When I get back home (from UK RALLY) and have time I will still pursue having a 3d one printed in hard plastic etc.

unfortunately, there was just not enough demand to go through with 3D printing. I had a company lined up and they were going to make the cover and the wavy cam, the rest as you said could be made up. They printed a partial cover to show me the quality and it was really GREAT. It is still on my wish list but unlikely. Unfortunately, the company I was going to use closed up shop, it was a local company and they went crazy buying ultra expensive 3D printers (could even 3D print in metal) and I assume the debt load was just too much for them because what I saw of their work was really good.
