I am the owner of the Singer 4AD formerly owned by Peter Lee and I have a bent rear axel. Peter had installed an Austin A50 engine and gear box in the car, but I don't know what rear end he used. It is not a Singer, that I know. In order to get a new axel I need to know the make and model, if anyone out there has any information about what Peter used it would be of great help. Maybe there is a complete rear end that will work with the Austin gear box and drive train.
Help me if you can
.
Thanks in advance,

Re: Need Help rear end axel?
I was not aware that he changed the rear axle.
If you can post a picture, we may be able to figure it out.

Re: Need Help rear end axel?
I recall he did an article in NASOC News late 2013 (Dec issue?) and I think he mentioned some of his substitutions.
