tachometer
The tachometer on my 51 Singer 9a suddenly stopped working. It appears to be some type of electric version, not a cable. Any trouble shooting ideas?

Re: tachometer
I don't believe the Roadsters were fitted with a tach from the factory, so you likely have an aftermarket unit. Most electric techs operate via a input wire from the coil, and also typically require a +12v source, so I would look for loose connections at both the tach and coil ends.
A picture of your tach would help those of us online to identify it.

On the subject of gauges, we're also missing a temp gauge as well, I'm just realizing. Wouldn't that be a good aftermarket thing to add on or under our dashboard as well?
