fuel sender
Re: fuel sender
And to add to this fuel sender question, I'm not even sure the fuel tank I have is the correct one as it was sitting on the back seat when I pulled it out of the barn. So attached will be a couple images of my tank if someone could let me know if it looks like the correct one, even if it's not the original.

Re: fuel sender
Hi William,
That is indeed a Roadster fuel tank, including the filler neck and cap.
I think I have an original sending unit in my spares somewhere...I will check...
I believe the original is 0 - 90 Ohms
Hope that helps!

Re: fuel sender
That would be great if you have a spare. This way the holes on the sender would line up as well. Thanks,

Re: fuel sender
I bought a new sender, for an Austin-Healy 100, I think, which worked great on my 4AD. Just had to bend the float lever arm a bit to match the original. Found the info on which other British cars used the same sender somewhere on this site or the UK Singer site, I believe. Sorry I don't have the actual cross reference info ready to hand.

my Morris friend says that the sender is the same for 1948 thru 63 Morris Minors.
