Chrome effect spray

For now, I lumped all the pre-war cars together, I would LOVE for there to be enough demand to split it into groups (hint...hint, post here about your pre-war Singer)

Chrome effect spray

Some of the steering wherl spokes have lost their chrome. Has anyone tried these chrome effect sprays. The youtube videos look very effective but there are mixed reports on durability ?

My original 1935 steering wheel had stainless spokes that cleaned up with with a polish with fine emery cloth. I had a good result with chrome paint on my RAC badge which the plater refused to chrome because it was made from Masak.
