Frost Plugs
Has anyone had occasion to replace the core/frost plugs on the pre war Nine engine? If so, were you able to find some with the correct fit or did you have to modify.

Re: Frost Plugs
Found some on ebay readily a couple of years ago. As I didn't have a digital calliper at the time so I bought two sizes and fitted the tightest fit. No problem since.
Re: Frost Plugs
Further dig shows I bought 30mm and 1 3/16" at<£2 each. Can't find the leftover!

Re: Frost Plugs
Thanks Neil. Sounds like 30mm is the size. Did they tap out easily or did you have to break them open?

It was rusty so punched a screwdriver through and levered out!
