Hi, I am about to fit my front light / horn harnesses etc but I am not so certain I am approaching it the right way. There are two attached photos, the original car (including shoe heels for rubber spacers) shows the harness running along the fron cross member on the outside - is this corrcet?
The second photo (red car) shows the harness from the lights disappearing bewteen the guard and the chassis - this I assume would lead to rubbing between the two.
Can someone enlighten this ignorant soul as to the correct fitting, if one exists?
Wiring question
Re: Wiring question
On my '34 9 Sports...my cables too ran across the outside of the front cross member as there was a small junction box mounted there. I also seem to recollect that on my car the head + sidelight cabling ran down the outer edge of the wing support bracket and dropped under the chassis rail at the bottom for it to looped back up under in order for to run along inside the chassis rail. I think I have a picture somewhere...

Re: Wiring question
Mine are the same as Danish'. Under the chassis and up onto the apron between the rad and the motor mounts.

Re: Wiring question
Thanks, that makes more sense
Re: Wiring question
Not wires - but the RED car needs a rubber grommet where the brake pipe goes through the chassis
