1953 SM Roadster - Grey Paint Code

Hi everyone, thanks for the add.
We are about to repaint our '53 SM Roadster for a show on Nov. 11 and wanted to get it as close as possible to the grey of Katherine Hepburn's car she brought to Jamaica. Can anyone recommend a color code we could try?

I would hate to steer you wrong on something as personal as a paint choice, particularly when the colour in the photos seems to be bit different from one photo to the other. I also don't know whether or not a non-metallic grey was offered in 1953. I read somewhere that the Hepburn car was probably a 1952 car. Nonetheless, the colour, which to me appears to be a slightly green-blue-grey is similar to a later Rootes colour called IC-91 Glacier Blue no. H-504074, in an old Du Pont paint book that I have. The book states that it was offered from 1958 to 1961, after Rootes took over Singer, but perhaps there was an earlier Singer colour that was similar. I'll see if I can get a decent photo of the colour

Here's are a couple of photos of Rootes' "Glacier Blue" for your perusal. This photo was taken outside under bright sun and the background paper is is actually quite yellow as shown. Again, to me this is a similar colour, but from a later vintage of car.

Yes, I agree that the Hepburn car was probably a 1952 model and am assuming that the paint must have been factory, but without a Singer chart available it's quite a task to choose a colour, especially with the conflicting photos.
So, with time against us and having not heard from you yet, we went ahead and purchased a paint called "Isuzu Cloud Gray" (see chart at link below and swatch attached):

So far we have painted the rims, see attached photos taken by different cameras which in reality is somewhere in between (not as much blue and not as dark a grey).

I was also looking at the "IC 107 Dawn Mist" on your Rootes chart as a contender with the "Glacier Blue", but do you know if the mixing formulas for these are still available?

I am never sure from a colour from a picture, when the sun is shining on the car...
I bought my Prius 6 years ago, after thinking it was a light grey colour, but when I saw the car in real, he was just the darker one.
