Ok guys (and gals)!

Christmas is once again rounding 3rd and heading for home. Time to wish one and all the best of the season, and a Merry Christmas!

The grass is still green at my place way up in the Great White North. Had I not put the cars away for the year, I could still go for a drive. I think that I will coax the Super Ten for a quick round of the block (still not legally licenced). I put in the radiator and discovered how much it leaks when it gets hot! I have a spare Roadster radiator, but there is almost a 6 inch height difference (in favour of the Super Ten). The replacement rad will fit, but I imagine the cooling factor will be reduced, if that will realy make a huge difference for now!

Paul: you've given all of us club members a great Christmas gift in the form of your purchase of the Super Duper 10. A great addition to our club that adds variety and depth. Also, the time and effort you've put into documenting your restoration with text and photos for us here on this BB is greatly appreciated.

Sincere thanks for all you've done this year for the club and the great effort you and Phil put into Stowe 2006.

Hello to All!
It doesn't feel like Christmas here in Tennessee. We had record breaking temperaturwes in the 70's the past couple of days. I had to take my 1952 4AD out for a spin both days and logged over a 100 miles runnning errands. Some of the errands were unnecessary. I was having so much fun, I kept looking for places to go and things to do! That will probably be my last fling until Spring.
I also reached a milestone with my second restoration. I purchased a 1953 4ADT back in January of this year. It was a basket case. It hadn't been driven since the 1970's. It was dissassembled around 1985 and was left as a chassis and powertrain for the last twenty years. I have completely restored the chassis and powertrain. I drove it for the first time around Halloween and two days later when I ran it , it caught on fire and nearly burned down the barn that I was working on it in. I have since repaired the barn and the car and have it back in tiptop shape. I drove it again yesterday for about twenty laps around the backyard without any flames! I now have a fire extinguisher mounted on the car (just in case). Driving Singers is always exciting, but people with wooden cars don't need the excitement brought on by flames. Fortunately, my car didn't have any wood on it or even the wiring harness when it caught fire. It certainly could have been alot worse.

Sure doesn't feel like Christmas in the Great White North. Not a speck of the white stuff to be seen. Went for a spin in the Sports. That's a first for Christmas eve.
