Prima jack -UK ebay

For now, I lumped all the pre-war cars together, I would LOVE for there to be enough demand to split it into groups (hint...hint, post here about your pre-war Singer)

In 20 minutes it went from GBP24 to GBP343 with an automatic bid winning, someone wanted it. I am glad I picked mine up when I did for aud 45.

My jack was stolen fifty years ago and I have been searching for one ever since. At last, it looks like I will have one to fit that 'T' shaped slot in the tool deck. A bit more expensive than I would have liked, but it's only money! - The automatic bidder.

At that price we might have to start bolting them to the deck, it is a warning for us all. There are not many out there.

The car looks great. If its not too rude a question, what was the limit on your automatic bid? I wasn't bidding by the way, just interested.

The bidding got close to my limit. I missed the last Prima jack that went for £246, and the one before that was withdrawn. I was determined not to be caught out this time by the smart-arsed bidder who likes to bid with 10 seconds to go! Up until then the bidding was at £155.

So what price for a replica? A working one of course. There is a foundry nearby that looks like they would cast the bodies. Definately a retirement project :)

Hello Jeans O M,

Love to see the progress you are making and the beautiful color you chose for your comely car.

Keep us posted, would you? It's a very handsome job you're doing.

More photos, and a description of some of the challenges you've encountered along the way might smooth --or even re-ignite-- progress for others of us. It's far too easy to become stuck along the way.

Seeing someone else's progress can be quite an inspiration.

Cheers,

David
