33/34 hood irons

For now, I lumped all the pre-war cars together, I would LOVE for there to be enough demand to split it into groups (hint...hint, post here about your pre-war Singer)

If anyone has a spare set please let me know. I have plans to make a set but it maybe easier and quicker to use original if they are out there. Note I am downunder in Aus land, but willing to pay shipping depending on overall cost and ease.

Hi Darcy,
Due to language translation difficulties could you please explain "hood irons"?

Sorry for any confusion (Australia versus English jargon), but the steel framework that holds up the roof canvas and folds down when not in use.

I am currently in Mongolia for two weeks but I doubt I will find any Singers here. Email access is problematic so anyone has anything, I will get back to you when I can.

Hi Darcy,
I was pretty sure you were talking about a hood frame! Sorry I can't help you there, I bought mine from Hardwicks a few years ago.
regards Bill
