So through an acquaintance, I have found a later model Singer 4 in Illinois. It is a true parts car, no title, and would be a very involved restoration. Unlike my 1949 it has hydraulic brakes and tube shocks. Any interest let me know, and I can direct you.

I am new to the site so may not be using it the right way - apologies. I had a Singer roadster 1953 or there abouts. Am I right in thinking it had a natural circulation cooling system and hence no water pump??

The 53's had a water pump if it was a 4AD, the earlier cars did not but the 4AD's did and they came out in 1951
