1952 Singer 4AD after 5 1/2 years!
1952 Singer 4AD after 5 1/2 years!
Here is the first photo of the near completed car after 5 1/2 years of restoration. There are still several tiny projects that need completed, but it's nice to finally have something to drive. This photo was taken Easter Sunday, prior to a family trip to Dairy Queen. What a wonderful day to enjoy a classic car!
I would like to say a huge thank you to all who have contributed to this restoration project, I'm not sure I could have done it without you all!
If you would like to see more, you can see a photo journal of the basic restoration process at: http://www.1952singer.weebly.com
Thanks again,
Fred

Thanks Peter! You're right, I'm looking forward to a few car shows this year. Since Singer is one of the featured Marques, I'd love to be able to attend Stowe this year. Unfortunately, I have no idea how I could get the car there from Georgia without spending a fortune. An enclosed trailer and something to pull it would be the ticket for the 19 hour haul, but I have neither. I'll have to stay local for now. However, there is a good British show in Norcross GA that I am looking forward to in Sept.

I have towed cars cross country on open trailers which would be less expensive to rent and you may have something that can haul that. For me the only scary part of the open trailer is night time when i am sound asleep in the hotel and the car is out there in the parking on the trailer, but I have never had anything happen.
And GREAT looking car, enjoy it.

Thanks Mark! Your patience with me due to all the questions I've asked does not go unappreciated! Thanks again!!!
I'm still in need of an OEM grease gun mounting clip for the tool deck. If anyone might have one they would like to part with, it would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks again, Fred

Thanks for the kind remarks Phillip! Once again, I really do appreciate all the help you and others have given me! The Singer is not an easy total restoration project, but the club has made it fun and rewarding! I attended my first car show last week and what a blast!!! In the eyes of the public, the Singer is a rare and unique car indeed!
