Hi new to site i have a 1960 singer gazelle 3a i like to look at it as a rolling restoration but i would like to uprate the brakes to discs to keep up with modern motoring & stopping would be nice without straining my ankle can any one tell me what i need to do this conversion,i live two minutes walk from speedy spares in brighton but i got no help from them they just send search the forums on the web then come back when you know what you want............any advice would be great

Hi Jim .. I also have a 3A Singer Gazelle and will be adding disc brakes over the next few months time permitting .. I have had a set of Sunbeam Rapier disc brake set up given to me and was told that they will bolt straight onto the Gazelle .. another option is if you can locate a Hillman Gazelle wreck, then swap the disc brakes over .. good luck .
