I have several rocker arm adjuster screws that are worn enough that they do not permit further tightening. Surely these screws are shared with other British cars as many use this type of adjustment. Can anyone tell me which other cars might work?
Thanks, Steve

Re: 4AD rocker adjustment
Well, here I am again posting a reply to my own question. When doing some maintenance on my Triumph bike (1966 TR6 Trophy 650cc), I noticed the similarity of the Triumph adjuster screw to that of the Singer. So I removed one and tried it in the car and it works great! The Triumph part has about two more threads than the Singer unit and the "tool" end of the screw uses a wrench rather than a screwdriver but the valve end looks just the same. These adjuster screws are available from the bike suppliers for about $5-$6 each.
