Need information about wire wheels for a 4AD.
Any help will be appreciated.
What kind of conversion parts do I need to put wire wheels on a 4AD?

I did not find the article about the conversion but I know I saved the article when it came out, I will call you tomorrow evening.

Getting Wired...
Russ Natali is the latest member we know of to get his 4AD 'wired' and did it with help from Len Pearcey, who also has his car 'wired up'. Russ was at Stowe but without his car. Robert Moreau did have his '48 A series Roadster there fitted with MG-B wire wheels, but the car has MG axles and running gear also!
Russ elected to go with 15" wheels whilst Len went with 16" to preserve the original look and diameter. Both methods posed different problems but nothing that a bit of creative thinking couldn't solve. Len added finned aluminium brake drums also which really make his car look sporty.
We printed two articles in NASOC NEWS called 'Wired for Style" covering this, but another article with a step-by-step procedure on installing Triumph 15" wheels on a 4AD was originally published in the NEWS in the 80's, which we adapted.
We can put you in touch with both Russ and Len if you like. I think the cost for Russ to do the conversion with new parts and any required machining was @ $2,000.00USD. The car does look nice!
