Good morning, I am trying to find the right size column nut for my Singer 4A roadster 1951 model. Tapered steering column with Woodruff key. I also require the adjustable race and locking nut, so I can fit the steering wheel.
Any help would be great fully appreciate.
Pictures would also be of help.
I think the nuts would be BSF sizes.
Thanks Jan

Re: Singer 4A roadster steering column locking nut
the woodruff key should be easy to find, even if its a little oversized a few hits with a file will bring it down to fit.
The nut will be harder to find, if it is BSF as I think and you also think it is, that should be doable as a full size nut and shave it down to the thin nut that it is. But if you don't have the tools that will be quite a bit of work. I don't think I have any in my piles of junk and if I do, they are 4AD which may be the same, I will look.
