Martyn Wray - Obituary...

Post by Phillip »

It was very sad news to have received the following from Arthur Michell, Chairman of the SOC - UK, regarding the passing of Martyn Wray:

Martyn Wray

The Singer Owners’ Club is saddened to announce the sudden death of Martyn on Saturday 21st October. We are all aware of his illness and his enforced resignation as our Club Secretary early this year. He had recently been in hospital but came home on Thursday and had phoned me on Friday afternoon to announce his return home.

He died at home early in the morning.

We all send our love to Jasmine, his sons Michael and Daniel and wider family.

Arthur Michell, Chairman

Martyn has been a part of the SOC for as long as I can remember and played key role in the functioning of the club as Secretary. His commitment to the SOC, as well as his deep knowledge of the Marque, will be greatly missed.

On behalf of NASOC, our sincere condolences to Jasmine and family.
