Hi Gents,
Would you have per chance pictures or drawings of brake assembly ?
I try to re assemble my front and rear brakes from bits and pieces. And as some parts are missing or worn out it would be good to have some ways of knowing what goes where . Cannot find much online.
I am a bit stumped at the wide spring on the pivoting point, does it go behind the shoes or at the front or ... ??
Many thanks in advance.

These are my 4A brakes before revision, is this a little bit the same?

They look like the pre-war brakes. Here's a drawing:

Re: Singer Nine/Bantam brakes
I should have said that the diameter of the brakes is 8" . And from the info I have received it is no 8" on Singers Nine, they are 10" and bigger on 1.5 liter.
So ! Not sure where they come from . Anyway, I have 10" brakes in stock, then I will use the front as the 10" backing plate offer the same bolts pattern as the 8" , and use 8" at the rear. The 10" rear backing plate as a different bolt pattern , could be used but the wheel cylinder will be not at the top anymore. will see .....

Hello Oz Singer,
Any further discoveries on the solution to your brake setup?
Hope it had been progressing.
