Hoffmann bearings

For now, I lumped all the pre-war cars together, I would LOVE for there to be enough demand to split it into groups (hint...hint, post here about your pre-war Singer)

Hoffmann bearings

Post by Bantam37 »

Hi everyone,
Do you have a conversion chart of Hoffmann bearing sizes to the modern NSK or other model numbers?
In particular, I need front hub bearing which has stamps "M7" on outer ring and "MS7" on inner ring.
Thanks

You should be able to take the bearing to any bearing shop and have them measure it for an alternative modern bearing.

Thanks Peter.
That is my plan B. Just these shops are closed here for another week and I hope to order online sooner.
I think shops will not have it in stock anyway.

Correct, I also bought the Hoffmann MS7, MS10 and MS11 bearings a short time ago for my Roadster, 2 of them came from Greece, the others from the UK.
