MAD DOGS & ENGLISHMEN UPDATE

Just back from the show in Michigan. A total of 10 cars and 13 members were on the field at the Gilmore Museum tying the number featured at Stowe in 2005.

Many thanks again to Dave an Ellen Norton who opened up their home to a number of us from out of town. A couple of big surprises to show up were Bob & Sherry Ward from Manitoba as well as John Slusar who brought his 53 4AD "Racing Special".

Members and their cars on the field were:
1947 Super Ten, Paul Bouchard, Quebec
1948 A Series Roadster, Bob & Sherry Ward, Manitoba
1950 4A Roadster, Rick Potter, Michigan
1951 4A Roadster, Bil & Toni Haley, Virginia
1952 4AD Roadster, The Howarth's, Michigan
1952 4AD Roadster, Mark Thompson, Tennessee
1953 4AD Roadster, Lynn & Gene Mulder, West Virginia
1953 4AD Roadster "Racing Special", John Slusar
1953 4AD Roadster, The Roberts', Illinois
1954 4AD Roadster, Dave & Ellen Norton

Members attending without their cars were:
Martin & Judith Hannah
Russell Natali
Phillip Avis

The weather was great, for those in short sleeves, topping 105 degrees. A great time was had by all with a lot of time sharing stories and tips... what a great gathering of friends is all about.

We will put up more information as well as some photos of the show later in the day.

Congratulations to Dave Norton and of course all that attended for what looks to have been a great meet. Let's hope it becomes a mid west tradition

First photo from Kalamzoo (Hickory Corners). We even managed to sneak Bil Haley into the shot. With 105 degree weather, we have to question the mental state of the fellow with the shirt and tie... in this case it was Mad Dogs and Canadians, but we digress.

With all the cars in the Singer "gallery" it was hard to find a spot to put so many dedicated people. Thanks also to Russ' brother Alan Natali for taking the photo.
