Just back from The 27th British Invasion!

The Singer Sensation at Stowe was one of the hottest tickets in town this weekend...but, then, anywhere in Stowe would have been because summer finally arrived and made for a glorious weekend.

The drive down in the new LR3 tow rig was a stress-free and smooth as the 'Big Red Shed' made light work of towing the Singer and trailer.

With new cars and members mixing with the faithful who come out every year, the show was relaxed and jovial. Heavy fog greeted us in the morning, but we were on the field and setting up, with the Tartas providing lots of straw bails and antique 'junk' to set the stage for 'British Pickers.'

Here is a taster...

Paul's Super Ten made a welcome return as 'Another Man's Gold,' while Big Red played the role of the Picker's ride, complete with signage.

Lots more to come...

You look a happy lot in that gorgeous weather.

Wish I could have stayed for the full weekend. The rally was well worth the travel time for spending a great day motoring about with Tartas and Singers, in Singers. Let's see if we can get lost next year! This rally was far too tame!

Cheers, All,

David
