Post by froux »

I'll be going on Sunday, a friend will be driving a Panhard in plateau 2.
Apparently a Mr Aga Khan is entering a 9 Le Mans : http://peterauto.peter.fr/files/pdf/lmc ... ist-n3.pdf

Darn...I would have liked to go but I am going to France on May 22 so I can be in Pauillac for Mothers Day and then back to the U.S. rather quickly on Tuesday (27th). I can't afford to go back in July. Too bad too, Le Mans is a small detour from Paris to Pauillac (actually Saint Seurin de Cadourne but no one knows where that is).

I was in Lyon just 3 months ago, I should have checked and seen if anyone was near since Aix les Bains is not far from Lyon. I will be back in France at xmas and my wife wants to celebrate New Years Eve in Paris this time but I won't be in Lyon again for a few years I think. As my mother gets older I find myself going to France more often but not doing touristy things, just going home.

Take pictures !!!

I'm more familiar with St Estephe  ... having studied aviation engineering in Mérignac.
Next time you're in Lyon, drop me a msg !
I'll come back here with pictures after july 6th.
